… I got a pretty good idea of how it must feel to be old. I have an inflamed sciatic and I was so immobile that I needed up to 5 minutes to get out of bed. I also had lots of time to think about how little I actually care for my body when it works. It’s the same old story, but what you’ve got, you don’t appreciate. I promise to become better.
I am also invited to several birthdays this weekend and will probably bring cake. This is not final, but what do you think of this and this?

What I have treated myself to this week:
I am sure you have noticed by now that I am a huge Deliciously Ella Fan. Her recipes are simple, delicious and fun. Finally, I have treated myself to her second cookbook and as always did not regret the purchase.
What I couldn’t get enough of this week:
Last week I picked elderflowers and prepared delicious elderflower juice and jelly. Since then, I drink elderflower lemonade non-stop and couldn’t feel happier. Maybe I’ll try this cocktail recipe during the weekend for a change. It looks so good!

What my boyfriend got me excited with:
I am in the very lucky position that when I get home late and tired, my boyfriend has prepared dinner already. I appreciate this very much, especially as my boyfriend sometimes even cooks better than I do (damn). Anyways, he tried this new pizza recipe, where the crust is made of tuna and eggs only. Assuming, of course, that you actually like tuna, this is an amazing low-carb, gluten-free pizza variation.
